The green building material consumption will cover 25% in building industry in 2015!
During the 12th five-year plan (2010-2015), GREEN has become the main subject in transforming and upgrading the building industrial and thus promote the green development and sustainable development in China. In 2014, the NDRC(National Development and Reform Commission) and the Department of housing construction have come out the policy Green Building Action Plan. As the reform goes on, in 2015, the last year of the 12th five-year plan, the consumption of green building material is expected to reach at least 300 billion USD, covering 25% in the whole building industry in China!
With the deepening of the green building transformation, the building material with functions of waterproofing, water-saving, energy efficient, moth-proofing, thermal-insulating , mould-proof, ecological ,etc are now becoming more and more popular in China. Compared to the developed countries, the popularization of green building in China is far from enough, but the concept is already deep in the mind. The green transformation is processing smoothly and rapidly!
Guangdong Province has come out Green Building Execution Program
In response to the transformation, Guangdong Province has come out the Green Building Execution Program in 2014. According to the program, the newly-built large-scale public building, government invested public building and the newly-built residential building in Guangzhou, Shenzhen must execute the green building standards. And by the end of the 12th Five -year Plan, the green building should cover more than 40 million square meters in Guangdong Province, including more than 10 green eco-area. And by the end of 2020, the green building should cover at least 30% of all newly-built buildings.
